Renewal: 30 November

Occupational therapists must complete at least 20 hours of CPD each registration year, including interactive CPD.

Registration year: 1 December to 30 November; AHPRA registration renewal is 30 November.

Category and topic requirements

Interactive CPD (minimum 5 hours): At least 5 hours should involve interactive CPD with other practitioners or peers.
Scope-relevant CPD: The remaining CPD should be relevant to the practitioner's scope of practice.

Caveats

Planning, reflection, and record keeping support CPD evidence but should not be double-counted as CPD hours unless Board guidance permits it.
